He left banking in 2022 and promptly lost half his life savings running three Qdoba’s in Atlanta. Instead of cutting his losses, he doubled down—buying ten more in Minneapolis, MN- and then doubled EBITDA in 6 months.

That crash course taught him two things: restaurants aren’t for the faint of heart, and franchisees don’t actually own their technology stack.
